ESPN celebrates super fans of the Chicago Bears

To commemorate the long and storied history of the Bears, ESPN created a multi-channel programming initiative spotlighting the team’s most devoted fans. An eight-episode docuseries followed a tight-knit group of season ticket holders, chronicling their personal lives amidst last year’s heartbreaking losses at Soldier Field.

The cross-platform campaign included online-exclusive videos, articles, audio interviews and a podcast series featured across social media, the WatchESPN app and ESPN the Magazine. The We The Fans website complements the series by giving users another way to learn about each “super fan”. The site experience begins with a 3D overhead view of the stadium and then zooms into section 250.

Upon entering, users can navigate through the section and access the stories of each fan through the stadium seats. The experience showcases the unique stories of Bears fans from all walks of life and celebrates their undying passion for the game.
